Natural Rubber RSS
“RSS” refers to “Ribbed Smoked Sheets,” a natural rubber variety that is extracted from natural latex. uses for RSS products are widespread in the rubber industry and include heavy-duty industries, tire production, and other uses. The various RSS types are categorized from RSS1 to RSS5, where RSS1 is the highest quality type with the fewest air bubbles and contaminants.

Product description
The latex, brought to the factory, is thoroughly filtered, diluted, and coagulated using acetic acid or formic acid. Once the latex has solidified into blocks, it is thinly sliced and immersed in a washing process to remove any remaining acid and impurities. Subsequently, the slices are fed into a roller mill with grooves, simultaneously rolling and washing to ensure the complete removal of acid and impurities from the latex.
the rubber is rolled into sheets, each measuring 1 meter in length, 50cm in width, and 4-5mm in thickness. These rubber sheets are hung on bamboo racks in a ventilated area to drain water for approximately 8 hours. Subsequently, they undergo preliminary smoking indoors at a temperature of 40-50 degrees Celsius for 24 hours. The rubber sheets are then transferred to the main smoking house for 24 hours at each stage, gradually increasing the temperature to 70 degrees Celsius. The overall drying and smoking process lasts for 4-7 days, with the maximum temperature the smoked rubber sheets endure being 70 degrees.
The smoked rubber sheets, with meticulous initial processing, are highly suitable for producing compounds used in manufacturing the surface of automobile tires. This demands qualities such as high tensile strength, abrasion resistance, and high hardness
